v3s主要用于视频监控、记录和分析。是一款无风扇、坚固耐用的车载nvr系统，具有下一代intel®x86 soc、丰富的i/o功能和环保耐用性，高度适用于智能总线监控。
v3s具有新一代14纳米intel®atom™x7-e3950 soc(formerly apollo lake)。该处理器耗电量低，并为满足上一代atom™处理器的车辆计算需求提供性能升级。
v3拥有丰富的i/o外设连接，包括2个串口，2个dvi-d、usb和数字i/o视频输出端口，6个rj-45端口(4个带poe或2个带poe )和可拆卸的sata存储槽。为了实现无线网络连接，v3s提供2个mini pcie插槽，可插拔双sim插槽，支持3g/4g/lte蜂窝通信。此外，紧凑型系统还提供了一个can总线选项，以解决驾驶行为分析的问题。
v3s符合e13标准，并通过了mil-std-810g抗冲击和抗振动认证，以确保在非平坦表面上运行时的正常操作。当安装在汽车内部时，温度是另一个需要考虑的问题。因此，v3s支持较宽的温度范围（-40°c到70°c）。
